CMS helps Siberia Airlines launch the first online ticketing portal in Russia
CMS Systems continues support for Siberia Airlines' next generation online sales channel and redesigned corporate website. Developed with CMS Travel Solutions, the newly launched site (www.s7.ru) offers Siberia Airlines' passengers the first in Russia online search, reservation and booking system.
Designed to communicate Siberia Airlines' personality, the new site offers a full range of services including search, e-booking and payment capabilities, as well as support for online offers and operational information. By combining these services into its multi-language site, Siberia Airlines is able to provide its customers with a unique service offering and to reconfirm its leadership in the Russian Air Transportation industry.
The new site, developed by a partnership between two leaders in the field, CMS Systems and SITA Inc, is the first of its kind in the Russian aviation market that supports a full service storefront.
The introduction of an online booking system on www.s7.ru has significantly simplified the purchasing process for Siberia Airlines' passengers. "With a credit and/or debit card and Internet access, a passenger can now quickly and easily purchase a ticket anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by providing only the necessary information over a secure connection, without the need for intermediaries. No travel agency can deliver this type of convenience and cost savings. Once booked online, tickets may be picked up at the airport counter", says Denis Midor, Director of Information Systems.
The website is operated with the help of Adult CMS, which powers some of the leading travel portals and storefronts (including www.lasvegas.com and www.aeromexico.com) and allows for easily managed destination and product content, as well as a platform for managing marketing campaigns and news.
